Transforming faces is a concept that has been introduced previously in horology. It was favoured for polo watches owing to its functional ability to provide an alternate armoured face for protection before being adopted by premium brands like Jaeger-Lecoultre, Valbray and Ritmo Mvndo for fashion and function.
